    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Gotham West Studios ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our Mission Control platform.

    1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, upload content, or contact us for support. This may include your name, email address, phone number, payment information, and content you upload to the platform.

We also automatically collect certain information when you use our platform, including your IP address, device information, browser type, and usage data.

    2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

    • Provide, maintain, and improve our platform
    • Process transactions and manage your account
    • Distribute your content to selected platforms
    • Communicate with you about your account and our services
    • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
    • Detect, prevent, and address fraud and other illegal activities
    • Comply with legal obligations

    3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with:

    • Distribution partners, such as Vevo and other platforms, to fulfill our services
    • Service providers who perform services on our behalf
    • Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers
    • Regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and others as required by law
    • Affected rights holders and their representatives — where we receive a complaint or determine in good faith, following review, that a user has provided or requested content, rights, or an identity they do not own or are not authorized to represent, or has misrepresented their identity, authority, or ownership. In those cases we may share the user's name, email address, and the relevant request and account records with the party whose rights appear to be affected, that party's legal representatives, the applicable distribution platforms (such as Vevo and YouTube), and law enforcement, to the extent reasonably necessary to investigate, correct, or address the matter. Any such disclosure is made to resolve the matter and is not a determination of legal liability.

    4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. When we no longer need to use your information, we will take steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

    5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or object to our processing of your information.

    6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

    7. YouTube API Services

Mission Control uses YouTube API Services to confirm channel ownership when a customer requests a change of ownership for a video already published on YouTube.

By choosing to connect your YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information handled through YouTube API Services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

What we access. With your permission, we read the list of YouTube channels associated with your Google account, and the public details of the specific video named in the request. We use this solely to confirm that the video sits on a channel you control. Our access is read-only: we cannot post, modify, or delete anything on your channel.

What we retain. We store the identifier and name of the channel that was confirmed, the Google account address that completed the confirmation, and the date. We do not store your Google credentials, and we do not retain ongoing access to your account after the check is complete.

Revoking access. You can revoke Mission Control's access at any time through the Google security settings page.

Connecting a YouTube account is optional. The same confirmation can be completed by placing a short verification code in the video's description, which requires no account access at all.

    8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
