Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the website owners. We also use browser storage (local storage) for the same purposes; this policy covers both.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They are not used to track you across other sites.

• Your cookie choice — we store whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies (key mc-consent-v1, in local storage) so we do not ask again on every visit.
• Google reCAPTCHA — our contact form uses reCAPTCHA v3 to filter spam. Google may set the _GRECAPTCHA cookie when that form loads. It is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cookieless analytics (no consent needed)

We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused service that counts visits and page views without cookies, fingerprinting or personal identifiers. It stores nothing on your device, so it runs without asking for consent.

Google Analytics and PostHog (only with your consent)

With your permission we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are read and how people arrive). Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which persist for up to two years. These are not set until you choose "Accept all"; until then, Google Consent Mode tells Google Analytics not to store analytics or advertising data.

We also use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to see which parts of the site people use and whether the contact form works. Until you accept, PostHog runs in a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device. After you choose "Accept all" it sets a cookie named ph_*_posthog (which persists for up to one year) so we can recognise a returning browser, and it may record how you move through a page (session replay) with any text you type masked. If you send us a message through the contact form after accepting, PostHog links your visit to the email address you provided.

The third-party cookies on this site come from Google (Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA) and PostHog, Inc. (PostHog product analytics) as described above. Fathom Analytics sets no cookies. We do not embed advertising networks or social-media widgets. If we add other third-party services, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

When you first visit, a banner lets you choose "Accept all" or "Essential only". You can change that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site.

Most web browsers also allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences, including deleting cookies that have already been set. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics everywhere.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Cookie Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes affect the cookies we set, we will ask for your consent again.
